Who are we?
The Russian River Sportsmen’s club is located in Duncan’s Mills California just upstream from the Moscow Road Bridge. The Club was founded in 1938 by a group of people interested in hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation. It is a limited membership, “not for profit corporation”, and is not open to the general public, only members.
Shooting Sports
The club has a single trap range for shotgun shooting.
Trap shoots held at the following times: (from Mid-March through Mid-November)
- Sundays 10:00a to 4:00p
- Wednesday evenings from 3:00p to 7:00p
- Thursday evenings from 3:00p to 7:00p.
The range is run by a Range Master who will be in charge of the shoot, and shooting will only occur while Range Master is present.
Current fees are $6.00 for a round of 25 birds for members and $10.00 for their guests. (2023)
There is an archery range that is open at any time except during shoots.
Air powered rifles / pistols are being researched by a board committee (2019)
